Lorde explains Frank Ocean's influence on 'Melodrama'

Lorde is celebrating the release of her latest record Melodrama and breaking down the album track by track with Spinoff.

In the segment on "The Louvre," Lorde gives Frank Ocean credit for allowing her to follow the song where it naturally wanted to go.

“In this sort of post-‘Blonde’ landscape, we can all sort of do whatever we want in terms of instrumentation. It’s exciting. I can use guitars and I can get a big gnarly Flume beat and throw it under water.”
