Frank Ocean show in Detroit show canceled due to illness

Frank's sold out show at St. Andrews Hall in Detroit, MI was cancelled this afternoon before the performance. Citing illness, the singer declined to say whether the show would be rescheduled for another time.

Fans gathered at the venue were unhappy with the situation, feeling that communication between his team and the show-goers could have been better.

"There is nothing wrong with an artist being too sick to perform," said one fan who made a three hour trip to see Ocean perform. "We are human, we do get sick. But what I don’t understand is if you’re so sick what are you on Twitter tweeting nonsense and then posting videos of people doing the harlem shake on your Tumblr?"

Ocean did tweet that evening, saying "this flu is playin wit my money man." but fans were still upset with the way the cancellation was handled.
