Full-color version of ‘Endless’ visual album surfaces

In June 2020, full-color stills from Frank Ocean’s 2016 Endless visual album surfaced online, revealing for the first time the rainbow-colored staircase being built behind a black-and-white veneer. Today, it was discovered that a full-color copy of the video has been made available online.
Grant Lau is a credit director who has worked for the NFL, MTV, HBO, AMC, Marvel, and The Black Eyed Peas, as well as on VFX for Endless. The color copy was located within his online portfolio. It appears the video was uploaded in January 2021 and may have been available to the public since that time.

The lyrics foldout accompanying the December 2022 LP reissue features a cryptic note, titled “Cost of Master Recordings.” It tells a fictional story based on Ocean’s real-life struggle to retain ownership of his 2016 studio album from Def Jam.

In a website and Tumblr post, Ocean reveals that “album 3” is set for release in July 2015, alongside “issue 1” of his companion magazine. The teaser offers a first look at the magazine’s cover, which will be available in “two versions.”
Ocean released a cover of The Isley Brothers’ song “(At Your Best) You Are Love” on his Tumblr as a tribute to the late R&B star on her posthumous 36th birthday.
