After last week’s announcement of his new luxury lifestyle company, Homer, the brand’s singular location located at 70-74 Bowery, New York, NY opened at 10:30 AM to those with appointments who are checked in at the front door.

Once inside, customers were treated to an intimate experience. Catalogs are given to visitors. Present were Frank Ocean, members of his team, and three or four jewelers behind the brand’s counters. In some cases, Frank himself explained some of the pieces to those trying them on. Appointments last roughly 15 minutes. Some walk-ins were taken. Notable day one guests included Cordae.

We’ve learned more about those involved in Homer’s operation. The store’s interior was designed by Michael A. Abel and Nile Greenberg (as ANY). The 160-page catalog was designed by Tracy Ma. Creative direction by Frank Ocean, Michael Abel, Ben Ganz, and more collaborators not yet known. Not much is known about most of the jewelry’s design, but the plus pendant was also designed, in-part, by Michael Abel.

According to staff, Frank will co-manage the store and that he will likely pop in from time to time. The store has one rule: no photos. Naturally, some photos found their way online.

Frank posted the following gallery on Instagram along with this anecdote:
