Lonny Breaux files to change his legal name to his new alias Frank Ocean

Christopher Edwin Breaux, also known as “Lonny,” has filed paperwork to legally change his name to Christopher Francis Ocean, a formal rendering of his recently adopted stage name: Frank Ocean. He submitted the petition on his 23rd birthday, October 28, 2010, and it is pending approval by a judge.
