Frank Ocean cancels European festival and Coldplay tour dates
Following closely after a illness-based cancellation in Detroit, Frank Ocean has pulled himself from all planned performances on his European festival run and opening slots on Coldplay's European leg of their world tour.
The announcement comes following a disappointing set in Oslo, Norway on August 7 where Ocean sang just four songs only to leave the stage after losing his voice.
Frank posted a statement on his Facebook saying:
“Let me start by saying I feel like an ******* right now but a tough decision had to be made in regard to my schedule over the next months and the casualties of that decision include my appearances at upcoming festivals in Europe and my opening slot of the European leg of the Coldplay world tour. Sorry as ****, I’ll be back if you’ll have me.”
