Frank Ocean cancels European festival, Coldplay tour dates

Following an illness-related cancellation in Detroit, Frank Ocean has pulled himself from all planned performances on his European festival run and from opening slots on Coldplay’s European leg of their world tour.

The announcement comes after a disappointing set in Oslo, Norway, on August 7, during which Ocean sang only two songs before leaving the stage after losing his voice.

Frank posted a statement on his Facebook saying:

Let me start by saying I feel like an asshole right now but a tough decision had to be made in regard to my schedule over the next months and the casualties of that decision include my appearances at upcoming festivals in Europe and my opening slot of the European leg of the Coldplay world tour. Sorry as fuck, I’ll be back if you’ll have me.
