Frank Ocean interviews photographer Tyrell Hampton for ‘i-D’ magazine

In an online article for i-D, Frank Ocean asks his friend Tyrell Hampton about his new photobook, Last Call: Vol. 1, a collection of portraits captured at parties around the world between 2016 and 2018. Ocean poses five questions regarding Hampton’s creative process, his experiences shooting the series, and the photographic landscapes he plans to explore next.

Hampton debuted Last Call with a launch party and signing at Climax Books in London on July 10. The 300-page photo album is available to buy online for $80 at Dashwood Books, limited to 500 copies.

Notably, Hampton previously appeared in an unreleased, circa-2020 music video by Ocean and Rosalía titled “Changes,” which leaked in 2023.
