Frank Ocean has shared a teaser on his website for his forthcoming studio album and magazine, Boys Don’t Cry, originally slated for release in July 2015.
In his first post since announcing the project in April 2015, a new image on boysdontcry.co shows a library “due date” card with a series of stamped dates from over the past 12 months. The title of the overdue material is printed at the bottom of the book insert: “Boys Don’t Cry.” Two dates are crossed out on the card: July 2, 2015—exactly one year ago, and the month initially intended for the project’s release—and April 6, 2016, one year after Ocean’s original announcement. The final stamp reads “July 2016,” with the exact day smudged in red ink. It appears the highly anticipated release is imminent.
