Frank Ocean has announced the title and release date of his next album in a post on his Tumblr and website. The teaser includes a photo of Ocean inside his London apartment, sitting in a chair and looking down at two stacks of magazines, both titled Boys Don’t Cry. On his site, frankocean.com, he wrote in the caption:

I got two versions. I got twoooo versions… #ISSUE1 #ALBUM3 #JULY2015 #BOYSDONTCRY

Ocean describes Boys Don’t Cry as his third album—following Nostalgia Ultra (2011) and Channel Orange (2012)—and as the first issue of an album-companion magazine, which appears to have ‘two versions’ of its front cover. Shortly after sharing the post, a spokesperson for Ocean confirmed to Billboard that his next album will be released in July 2015.

Update 2016-08-20:

More than a year after its initial planned debut, “Boys Don’t Cry” finally arrived as two music projects—the visual album Endless and the studio album Blonde—released 24 hours apart, along with a 368-page magazine titled Boys Don’t Cry, which contains a CD of the latter album.

In Frank Ocean’s April 2015 photo, he is wearing a black shirt with Japanese characters reading: 非戦, “no war.” Also, next to him, leaning against the wall, is a framed poster of a green frog on a pink background. It is from the art exhibition “After Shelley Duvall ‘72 (Frogs on the High Line),” curated by Bjarne Melgaard at the Maccarone Gallery in New York City, from September 17 to October 22, 2011.
