OFWGKTA released three tees on its website to celebrate Frank Ocean turning 25 years old. The first features a photo by Nabil Elderkin, first published in a recent cover shoot for Oyster magazine. The sheet music company’s 96-page softcover contains notation for 12 tracks from Frank Ocean’s 2012 studio album, including “Thinkin Bout You,” “Sierra Leone,” “Sweet Life,” “Super Rich Kids,” “Pilot Jones,” “Crack Rock,” “Pyramids,” “Lost,” “Monks,” “Bad Religion,” “Pink Matter,” and “Forrest Gump.”

‘Channel Orange’ Japanese translator Minako Ikeshiro pens letter on Frank Ocean

Universal Music Japan released a CD edition of Frank Ocean’s Channel Orange with a special booklet. It features Japanese translations of Ocean’s song lyrics and a foreword by Minako Ikeshiro, a music journalist based in Tokyo. In her note, Ikeshiro captures the zeitgeist surrounding the up-and-coming U.S. artist, both in Japan and abroad.
