YouTube fan re-upload (Tumblr: @frankocean).
What’s up, guys? Good evening and shit. It’s like 10:49 PM… —Frank Ocean.
Frank Ocean posted a public service announcement on Tumblr after an “overzealous promoter” leaked a schedule for his upcoming world tour. He says the dates floating around the internet are incomplete and that links to buy tickets are now available on his website, frankocean.com.
He’ll be performing in New Orleans, New York, Los Angeles, Paris, London, and Amsterdam between November 5th and 28th, 2011.
Ocean says the shows will be “fun, thought-provoking, and umm… emotionally stirring.” He also asks “how’s your family and shit?”
Note: A complete archive of Frank Ocean’s concerts is available on blonded.blog’s shows page.
Video Transcript:
What’s up, guys? Uh, good evening and shit. It’s like 10:49 PM. I’m in Los Angeles. I just got home, and I get on the internet, and I see that I’m going on tour. Uh, I didn’t release the national dates. I’m sure there’s some overzealous promoter to blame for that, but nonetheless, they are out. I just want to get on here and say that there’s three more dates. There’s Paris, London, Amsterdam, and I’m about to post all the links. If you’re on my Tumblr—if you see this video on my Tumblr, frankocean.com—all the links will be right above my head.
Uh, what else? How’s your family and shit? Cool, cool, cool. Well, hope to see some of you guys at the shows. They're going to be fun, thought-provoking, and um, emotionally stirring. That's the shit, right? And yeah, other than that, blessings. Enjoy your evening. Out.
