The Recording Industry Association of America awarded Frank Ocean a platinum plaque for his 2017 single “Chanel” after selling one million units. It debuted as the first song released by Ocean’s first independent record label, Blonded, and now represents Ocean’s third RIAA platinum record, after his 2011 single “Novacane” and 2016 album Blonde.
