‘Channel Orange’ certified RIAA gold
Frank Ocean’s 2012 studio album Channel Orange has achieved gold certification by the Recording Industry Association of America, selling over half a million RIAA-certified units since its release six months ago. The album’s lead single, “Thinkin Bout You,” recently earned gold certification on December 14, 2012, bringing Ocean’s total to two RIAA gold plaques to date, with more to come.
