Frank Ocean performs “Bad Religion” on ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’
Frank Ocean was the musical guest on tonight’s episode of Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. The singer sported his signature bandana while singing “Bad Religion,” a track from his new album Channel Orange.
The album was initially intended for a July 17th release, but was made available digitally a week early to coincide with this performance. Watch Frank make his late-night debut below.

The Recording Industry Association of America awarded Frank Ocean a platinum plaque for his 2011 single “Novacane” after selling one million units. The platinum record arrives alongside three gold certifications for Ocean’s 2012 singles “Lost,” “Pyramids,” and “Super Rich Kids,” each of which sold half a million units.
The American television program presented a $600 clue that contestants had to answer in the form of a question: “Who is Frank Ocean?” The man himself later posted the clue card on Tumblr. It is at least the second time that he’s been mentioned on the game show.

The split-screen collage follows Ocean as he jet-sets around the world, intercut with footage from his Channel Orange Tour and recording studio sessions. Reactions to the performance were mixed because Frank was off-key due to a malfunction in his in-ear monitors.

Frank Ocean delivered an intimate rendition of his song “Thinkin Bout You” at the MTV VMAs in Los Angeles. He was lit by a faux campfire and a starry night sky as he sang the 2012 Channel Orange track among rocks and tall grass decorating the stage. Ocean appeared on the show after receiving three award nominations for his 2011 music video “Swim Good.”
