Justin Bieber, Jaden Smith remake Frank Ocean song “Thinking About You”

Canadian singer Justin Bieber and aspiring rapper Jaden Smith have covered Frank Ocean’s song “Thinking About You.” Ocean originally wrote the piece for Bridget Kelly, who premiered it as a single on July 29, 2011. A day before Kelly released the song commercially, Ocean also shared his reference track on Tumblr.

Much like Kelly, Ocean previously worked with Bieber as a songwriter. In 2009, during co-writing sessions with production team Midi Mafia, Ocean (then known as Lonny Breaux) penned a song for the budding pop star titled “Bigger.” Bieber released it on his 2009 debut EP, My World.

In their rendition of “Thinking About You,” Bieber and Smith have written their own lyrics for the track, replacing Ocean’s second verse and bridge. After the duo shared their cover on Twitter, fans uploaded it to various platforms, including YouTube and SoundCloud.
