Frank Ocean opens up his Instagram account @blonded to public
After registering the @blonded handle on Instagram in April of 2017, Frank Ocean began to use the account, being followed by just a few of those closest to him, closed off to eager fans. Today, Frank, following in the footsteps of Tyler, The Creator, has opened his account up to the world.
Included in the archive are photos of major moments in the last few years of Frank’s career, singles, songs, and a Summer festival tour are documented amongst various selfies and shots of the world and people around him.

In an Instagram comment, Ocean clarified that the “unreleased 2020 project” circulating online in recent years is not a scrapped album of his and some of its tracks are inauthentic. Ocean is running a get-out-the-vote initiative through his website, blonded.co, and sending previous Blonded customers a free poster and set of postcards to remind friends and family to vote in the upcoming U.S. presidential election.
Frank Ocean posted a cryptic photo on Instagram that seems to foreshadow an upcoming project. The image shows a pile of white T-shirts with “The Future of the World” printed across the front. Exactly what that entails is unclear, but the possibilities include the title of a tour, live event, album, single, Blonded Radio slogan, or another creative endeavor.

On Instagram and Tumblr, rapper Lil B the BasedGod shared a photo of himself with Frank Ocean, which he captioned: “Rare photo of Lil B and Frank Ocean in the studio together! New music coming soon! Collect this!”
In a Tumblr post, Ocean shared the lyrics for his own take on Migos’ new single “Versace.” The verse references Ocean’s Grammy win over Chris Brown and his recent appearance at the 2013 Met Gala, where he chopped it up with Donatella Versace.
