The largest political group in America is the 42% who do not vote. —Blonded.
Earlier today, September 29, Frank Ocean launched a voter registration initiative on blonded.co ahead of the 2020 U.S. elections. His website now features a tool by Vote.org that directs visitors to voter registration forms, along with links to check their registration status, view an early voting calendar, find instructions for voting by mail, and sign up for election reminders.
Later this evening, during the presidential debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, Ocean posted a message to his Instagram story, encouraging people to vote and linking to his website:
Instagram: @blonded.
Debates are on. It all feels fake. The problem’s that it’s not. Donald is president and might not leave the White House even if he loses the race so some say. [Please] vote. Watching him dragged out will be way more entertaining than these debates. If you’re not registered swipe up to blonded.co. The form just takes 2 minutes to fill out. Goodnight.
Ocean is passionate about voting and has encouraged his fans to participate in past elections. During the 2018 midterms, he launched his first get-out-the-vote effort, opening pop-up shops in Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, and Miami that offered free merchandise to fans who presented proof of voting, such as a ballot stub or “I Voted” sticker. The campaign coincided with three special episodes of his Apple Music online radio show, Blonded Radio.

Update 2020-10-08:
Frank Ocean is mailing a set of postcards and a 16” × 22” poster featuring voting information to Blonded customers in the U.S. who ordered a 7-inch vinyl in October or November 2019. The articles include registration deadlines for every state in the union, election dates, and other important info. Both items are made in the USA. A message on blonded.co asks recipients to send the postcards to their friends and loved ones to remind them to vote. Photos of the free merch are shown below.
Blonded’s postcard, poster, and animated web banner feature a graphic with the word “Vote” styled to resemble a punch-out ballot, above a geometric face with a cut-out of Ocean’s mouth and eyes depicted as a blue star and red stripes, all against a white background.
Redditor u/brmmr has shared a video of the poster cards being printed on r/FrankOcean.
