Noisey, the music arm of Vice, released a two-part series on YouTube that follows Odd Future around New York City for their live shows and other activities on July 25 and 26, 2012. Jasper Dolphin describes it as “the most turnt up 24 hours” of his life. The special was filmed by Lance Bangs, who previously shot the group’s impromptu music video for “Oldie” during a photoshoot with Terry Richardson in March 2012.
In part one, OF skateboards across NYC, heckles tourists in Times Square, and acts out during an MTV interview. In the evening, the gang visits Sagan Lockhart‘s photo exhibition at Shown to Scale in Brooklyn. The gallery showcased never-before-seen portraits of Tyler, The Creator and Earl Sweatshirt “doing stuff.” OF announced the event on Tumblr, and fans showed up en masse to meet the crew.

In part two, the group spends their second day in NYC doing another photoshoot with Terry Richardson, this time for a Golf Wang x Terry collaboration. The evening was then packed with three separate concerts. First, Frank Ocean brought Channel Orange to Terminal 5 in Manhattan. Then, Tyler and Earl shared the stage at Best Buy Theater on Broadway. Finally, OF label signees Trash Talk rounded out the night at 285 Kent in Brooklyn.
In between their shows and shenanigans, both shorts feature interviews with various members of Odd Future. In part two, Ocean talks to Lance Bangs after 1:40 and mentions seeing actor Jake Gyllenhaal at his show.
